Kommerz is an office for identity, strategy and editorial design. Through careful analysis of the assignment and its context, and with great consideration for the perception and expectations of the end user, Kommerz renders thinking as form, process and experience. Kommerz was founded by Bram Nijssen and Marcel van den Berg in 2010.
We work with national and international clients in the varied domain of commerce, education and culture across multiple disciplines including brand identities, print, editorial and publishing, websites and digital platforms as well as copywriting, audio visual, and creative direction in production. Our self-commissioned projects include the internet-tv platform Volksrekorders (2006–2010), the visual poetry series The Substitutes (2008–present) and the Non-Issue zines (2013–present).
